Why Maine Coons?

Maine Coons are often described as “dog-like” due to their social nature, intelligence, and loyalty. Unlike many other cats, they love human interaction, are good with children, and are often described as “talkative” (but never too loud). They are playful, affectionate, and possess an almost mythical aura, which is why we’ve chosen to breed these beautiful creatures under the name Hecate’s Secret. The goddess Hecate, revered in ancient mythology for her power over magic, the moon, and the unseen, feels like the perfect patron for our cattery, as these cats often seem to exist between worlds—earthly companions and ethereal beings all at once.
