What’s Included in the Adoption Fee of Our Kittens

Adopting a kitten from us means bringing home a healthy, happy, and well-socialized companion. Our adoption fee reflects the time, resources, and expertise that go into raising kittens—starting with the parents.

1. Parents: The Foundation of Our Kittens

The first and most significant investment is in our breeding cats:

  • Purchase of breeding animals, which typically starts at 3,000 € and more, plus courier/shipping fees that can add up to 1,000 €

  • Feeding and daily care, including high-quality dry and wet food, BARF (biologically appropriate raw food), vitamins, minerals, immune boosters, and healthy treats

  • Lifestyle accessories and enrichment (toys, scratching posts, bedding)

  • Veterinary care, including routine check-ups, vaccinations, antiparasitic treatments, and emergency care if needed

  • Club membership fees for recognized breeding associations

  • Show participation fees for exhibition cats

  • DNA testing for imported cats to ensure genetic health and authenticity

  • Ongoing education, including courses and seminars, to maintain best breeding practices and stay up-to-date on feline health and welfare

2. Breeding and Litter Management

Raising kittens requires careful planning and attention:

  • Registration of the litter with cat clubs

  • Pedigree certificates for each kitten

  • Veterinary monitoring of the mother during pregnancy, including nutrition and health care

3. Nutrition and Supplements

Proper nutrition is essential for healthy parents and kittens:

  • High-quality feeding for breeding cats

  • Balanced nutrition for kittens, including formula for babies when necessary

  • Vitamins, minerals, and immune boosters to support overall health

4. Veterinary Care for Kittens

All kittens receive full medical attention to ensure a healthy start:

  • Microchips for identification

  • Litter registration fee and pedigree fee

  • Vaccinations and boosters

  • Routine health checks

  • Antiparasitic treatments for internal and external parasites

  • Neutering of all pet kittens before adoption

5. Socialization and Lifestyle

We ensure kittens grow up confident, playful, and well-adjusted:

  • Handling and early socialization

  • Enrichment and play to stimulate physical and mental development

  • Accessories such as bedding, scratching posts, and safe toys

6. Miscellaneous Expenses

Other costs associated with responsible breeding and kitten care include:

  • Emergency veterinary care if needed

  • General care and maintenance expenses for both parents and kittens

By adopting a kitten from us, you are bringing home a companion who has received the best possible start in life, supported by healthy parents, expert veterinary care, premium nutrition, and enriched socialization. Your adoption fee also reflects the breeder’s ongoing education through courses and seminars, ensuring all cats benefit from the latest knowledge in feline health, genetics, and welfare
